Two links with two different jobs
NuzPoke does not use accounts. Every run has two access links that must be treated differently:
Never show the admin URL on stream, in chat, public screenshots or descriptions. Keep an .nzpk file as a backup too.
Create the run and choose a visual identity
Open NuzPoke, select New run and complete three details:
- Run name: something recognizable for later.
- Trainer: the name that identifies your character or channel.
- Sprite style: the game or visual family you want on screen.
There are styles from generations 1 through 7, Pokémon Shuffle, and animated or static Pokémon HOME. Each game only covers the Pokémon and forms in its roster; HOME has the broadest coverage.
Choose a specific game to match your run. If species and variant coverage matters most, start with Pokémon HOME.
Add the team in its exact forms
Search by name or open Filters to narrow by type, region, gender difference and battle form. Selecting a species opens its variant picker.
- Choose normal or shiny when the style supports it.
- Select region, gender, permanent form or battle form.
- Enter a nickname if you want it shown in the overlay.
- Select Add to team and repeat for up to six slots.
The order in configuration is also the overlay order. Drag members to rearrange them.
The top area shows the run name, trainer, active sprite style and configured members.
Prepare the overlay without deciding everything
Select Stream. Four choices are enough for the first test:
- Choose 1×6, 2×3, 3×2 or 6×1.
- Decide whether to show names and types.
- Position the block with horizontal and vertical alignment.
- Select Copy URL inside the arrangement card you want to lock.
Each arrangement card copies a specific URL that locks that layout. Even if you later choose another arrangement in the panel, that link keeps displaying its locked arrangement.
Backgrounds, patterns, opacity and animation can wait. They are saved with the run and do not change the link.
Use 6×1 for a bottom strip, 1×6 for a side and 3×2 for a wide corner. Start transparent and add a background only when the game reduces contrast.
Run a complete test before going live
Paste the stream URL into a browser tab or a Browser Source in a test scene. With the overlay visible:
- Add a Pokémon to an empty slot.
- Drag two members into a new order.
- Edit a variant or nickname.
- Try an available evolution.
- Remove a team member.
Every change should appear without a reload. Save the admin URL and download an .nzpk file from Share run.
The stream URL you just tested will stay the same for the whole run. The next step is setting it up correctly in OBS.
Check every link, state and recovery path
Before setup is complete, test the run as three different people: the administrator, the person building the OBS scene and the viewer.
Open the view URL in a private window, make a change from admin and confirm it arrives without signing in or reloading. Then close and reopen NuzPoke and check the run appears under My runs.
Crop the address bar from screenshots and recordings. Treat a visible admin link as an exposed credential.
